I am a 21 year old with high blood pressure. what are the possible reasons for this?

I am a 21-year-old and by chance, I just checked my blood pressure and my pressure was around 150 so I decided to check it everyday. For the next few days, my pressure was above 135 in the night except in the morning which went up to 130. I need to know if its normal or should I consult a doctor immediately? Also, I smoke once in a while but not a chain smoker and I have been hitting the gym for few weeks.

Unlike with older people, high blood pressure in younger adults is more often associated with an underlying health problem, such as hormonal conditions or a blockage in the blood vessels to the kidney
