I need help designing and codeing a physical KSP control panel!

Hi! I'm working on a project to design and build a physical control panel for KSP, and I wanted some help working out some stuff.
I've drawn out the basic design in MS Paint and made a list of components, but other than that, I haven't done anything.
The basic concept is simple, but I'm not sure what mod to use to interface with KSP, and even then I'm a rubbish coder and have no idea how to do this, or if it will even work.
I've included the blueprints for the control panel, and I was wondering if it would be possible for an expert to go over it, and tell me what to do next. Thank you.
