What do you think about drop off catering?

Asked Dec 29, 2016
Many times, people who are in charge of planning corporate events will come to us wondering which type of catering best suits their needs. Whether catering for a wedding or work party, our guests often assume that it will be easier to have the food prepared and dropped off, leaving a large portion of the distribution and clean up work in their hands. In this blog, we discuss the difference between full-service and drop-off corporate catering, and why you should choose Bella Personal Chef, Catering, & Event Design for your next event!

Drop-off catering is typically reserved for more casual events, such as a graduation party. With drop-off catering, companies will typically set up the buffet tables and deliver the food, cooked and ready to serve. The advantage to this is that guests are always free to serve themselves as they wish, and it can be more affordable for smaller events with less people. It is great for social events where not everybody may be sitting down to eat all at once. The disadvantages to this style of catering is that the host or event planner has a lot more responsibility in their hands, from cleaning, to serving, to ensuring that the food stays heated properly throughout the event.
