Can 17 years old travel on their own?

I am 17 years old and I want to get a flight from London to Slovakia but I don't know if I can go by myself?

It depends on airline that you are (or 17 years old) going to travel. In most of the airlines, the unaccompanied minor service is mandatory for children below 12 years and this service is optional for children (or adult) of 17 years. For example, in British Airways, children below the age of 12 years can’t travel alone and parents have to request for the service when making British airways reservations. If you want this service, though it is optional for you, you have to request it when purchasing British airways tickets and reservations.

Yes you can travel, if you have any trusted tour guide. Recently I had visited Galapagos island with my tour guide (Tip Top Cruises). This island is very beautiful covered with greenery. Anyone can see the different wildlife animals.

Obviously, a 17 years old person can travel on his own responsibilities rather he will be happier with this. And he may choose some friends for travel together. I have seen this before that some teen aged school boys were traveling in Punta Cana city when I went this amazing trip by FunTrip2. I know this beautiful place is too suitable for all. So for more fun people are choosing Punta Cana for their holiday trip.
