Chemistry or earth science?

I am in high school going into my junior year im trying to figure out what class will get me a better paying job in the future. So should I take earth science or chemistry? This is all I need help with I just not sure what science class will get me further in life.

Chemistry has the greater potential for new discoveries and potential rewards, grants etc but that said Earth Sciences have an enormous benefit to helping mankind with ecology and potentially being forwarned of potential natural disasters.
