Please help with my car issues?

Christmas day,i drove thru water maybe 4 inches deep,ever since my car barely starts,keeps cutting off,and missing while driving. then my starter went out. I had a mechanic put on a new starter,a new coil pack,and spark plug,but my car is still doing the same thing? what should I do?
