I need to know how to reply to my dad's answer

o I haven't talked to my dad for a while he's kind of adopted his new family and left his old family behind forgotten I guess I got a hold of him on Facebook and poured my heart out to him and said I needed some advice on some issues I'm having in my life and he replied with I love you too and that's it how my supposed to respond to that cuz right now I'm pretty upset about that he's supposed to be my dad
