4k LCD vs LED Full HD

So I bought a 4k LCD Sony TV yesterday during Black Friday on amazon and it's still on it's way, but i'm worried about LCD part because my last TV is LED and I heard LED is superior to LCD in lots of cases.
Anyone here who knows if 4K LCD is going to be better than full HD LCD?
