What should I do if I'm attracted to my best friend

I'm bisexual and she seems to still be figuring it out, but we are the same sex. I want to ask her about it but I'm really worried that she won't like me that way and our friendship will become awkward. She is the closest friend I have ever had but being attracted to her this way is driving me insane. Please Please help.
