My doctor changed my prescription without telling me, what do I do?

So I have been taking birth control for almost two years now. About a year ago my doctor told me that I shouldn't take the last week of birth control pills so that I wouldn't have my period. I got really depressed when I had my period to the point that my mother was concerned about my mental health and considered putting me in the hospital once because of my period. I just switch doctors and I made it very clear to her that I do not take the last week of pills and I can't have my period for these reasons. She said she understood but she changed the prescription without telling me to that I take the last week of pills. What do I do? She didn't tell me she was doing this and I never agreed to let her do this.
