If mud crabs couldn't live in mangroves could it survive in another habitat? explain why or why not

I am doing a science assignment which is really important for me to do it well....
it is about mangroves and the animals that live there. the last question and most important question is if mangrove crabs cant live in the mangroves anymore because this habitat is destroyed could live in another habitat?we also have to explain our selves to why or why not.
Please help me if you know something I really really need help!!!!
