Regarding difference in date of release and date of purchase of car on title transfer certificate

I bought a used car close to a month ago. I am going to transfer the title now. Apparently I was supposed to do it within 10 days of the purchase but since this is my very first car I wasn't aware of how to go about it. Anyway, my question is that I bought the car on the 24th of June but the seller has dated his release signature and odomter signature as 18 of June. Should I write 24th June as date of purchase or do I have copy his date? Would it be a problem if there is a difference between the dates? Thanks. Waiting for prompt reply!
