My xbox 360 keeps freezing

Ok 2 months ago all my games froze for about 20 seconds then unfroze it suck I dont know y it did then today I finally googled it and it made me do something in settings I happen to look at my game files and CORRUPTED EVERYTHING is this y my Xbox keeps freezing the game that don't freeze don't have corrupted just asking
