Upgrading from a Nikon d80 DSLR, which Nikon camera should I buy ( that will fit a 50-500 lens )?

A friend of mine has a Nikon D80 DSLR camera, But is looking to upgrade to a newer model from NIKON.

It will have to be a Nikon DSLR that is compatible with a 50-500 lens.
Not sure on the budget yet.

So, If you have any suggestions of model, Please list .

Thanks!

The Nikon D800/D800E is a stunning DSLR that would go well with a Sigma 50-500mm lens. You can capture sharp still images and shoot high definition videos. It has a high capacity to store large amounts of images and videos. In addition, you can film videos with FX and DX movie formats.
