Which kind of diy wifi antenna is best for 5-10km ap scans or 3g/4g networks.

Hi. I was thinking of making a Wifi antenna mounted on a dish sattelite, similar to the well known "Cantenna". My question is :
Which is the best DIY antenna for long range AP Search 5-10 km.
I was thinking of a Yagi antenna on a Satellite dish working as receiver only but was wondering if there's something better I can build or buy.
Where I live there's low internet coverage so a Wifi antenna or a 3g/4g antenna is my only choice at the moment. Thanks for your time guys.
