Really angry looking red mark where spot used to be?

I had at spot between my eyebrows, I had it four about 4 days. Yesterday the spot was gone but there is still a bright red mark that looks like a graze. I didn't pop the spot so I don't how it's gone but I left it alone and just washed my face twice a day. I have relatively clear skin, with the odd spot appearing every once in a while. I'm not normally concious about having a spot but this mark is really noticeable as its a really angry looking red. I was wondering how long will I take to go a way and what has caused it? Is it normal?
