My mom won't let me shave my legs. What do I do?

I asked my mom if I could shave my legs. She replied by almost shouting at me. I'm 12 which is a year above the average age to start. My legs are quite hairy. What do I do? Because I sometimes get teased about my hairy legs.

I'm afraid there's nothing you CAN do, or at least, without directly disobeying your mother, which I don't recommend. If you're really so worried about people teasing you (which you shouldn't be. Be proud of who you are, hairy legs and all), then you can simply wear long pants and change in a bathroom stall for PE.

What I did was I started shaving at 11 and didn't tell my mum, and I wore jeans for ages until my mum told me she'd give my shorts to charity if I didn't wear them. I then told her that I COULDNT wear them because my legs were hairy and I got teased for it, so she started letting me shave even though I'd already been shaving for ages :)
