How do steroids in food (cows, chicken, etc. )#) affect us who eat them?

Steroids and growth hormones in cattle and other animals we eat for food that make the farming industry more profitable by paying the same price per head of cattle but

maximizing the meat and sales can give the consumer, if it is a male consumer, enlarged pectoral muscles and a softening of the muscular tone. It can also cause early onset

puberty in females as well and prematurely large breasts.
