Has someone ever made a gears of war berserker cosplay/costume?

I recently went to Comic-Con in London (for the first time) and I was inspired by the cosplays and costume I saw, as an age old Gears Of War fan my ultimate dream would be to spend a day as a berserker.

I'm looking for tips and examples for the construction of the costume, mostly I've looked at space marine armour cosplay suits as I can't find any closer examples, any tips and tricks for cosplay welcome.
