Am I working out right?

I do 20 push-ups and 40 sit-ups every day. I also run 1 mile every day. With the sit ups and push-ups I've been building them up over time, I started out doing 10 a day. Should I do this routine every day or every few days?

If your using your own body to workout, you need to do more than push-ups, sit-ups, and running. Try to do stuff like pull-ups, crunches, 6 inches, stuff like that. There are so many different exercises you can do with your body its unreal. Go to this site and start a plan. http://www.bodybuilding.com/ its free and it will really get in shape. And the reason why I am saying this is because push-ups, pull-ups, and running only do so much and only target certain areas in the body. You want to transform from head to toe. Not just triceps, abs, and hamstring. There are so much more to work on. Just give it a shot and read/study the site. Pick a plan. I can also give you insanity for $5 if you ever heard of it.
