I'm scared to put my hand up in class

Okay, so I'm in the top set in chemistry, and every1 there is like really really smart, I personally think I should be set 2. But anyways I know the answer but I'm not confident enough to put my hand up to answer the question because if I get it wrong I think the smart people think I'm an idiot and should be in a lower set.
