Does checkmend service or their third party sources send data to police

Hello all. I have used CheckMend to check a iPhone for its status, the IMEI and Serial number was from a website called 'deactivate-find-my-iphone.com' which I found from Google. My whole intention was to verify the accuracy of deactivate-find-my-iphone.com's report.

The report says the IMEI code was LOST and reported to the police, the report also stated it had a insurance claim and the mobile was sold with a contract. Since I entered my details into CheckMend to do the check; does this mean that they may send my details to the police?

Their privacy policy: http://www.checkmend.com/uk/privacy

I'm asking as I am unsure about their policies, thank you. (My country is UK)
