Is the Xbox One Headset Adaptor worth it?

Hello everyone,

I just bought a Xbox One, and currently I only have the default microphone which comes along with it (it isn't horrible, actually). However, as I plan on keeping the Xbox One, I would like to upgrade to a much better headset. I do have the 360, and with it I have the Turtle Beach XL1 Ear Force headset. I have enjoyed this headset since I purchased it, but now that the Xbox one has a different port, I have a few questions...

1. Will the Turtle Beach XL1 Ear Force headset work with the adaptor? I did some research and found that it SHOULD, but I would just like to make sure.

2. If you have the Adaptor, is it worth the purchase? Is the quality of the headset still on par or under par when connected to the Adaptor?

3. Should I just invest in a headset designed for the Xbox One? If so, any recommendations?

i would just stick with what you have. their making new better things now and by the time they come out, you'll be able to get it.
