My cat has a tick and fleas

so in GA we got a cat from outside that didnt hav an owner but it has worms a tick and a heck of a alot of fleas so we tried poison(spray) and shampoo but it wont work the tick wont get off either

Take to vet and hurry.

Take him to an experienced Vet hospital quickly. Fleas are best controlled with regular all year round application of topical preparations such as monthly Advantage or Frontline.

Use both topical and oral flea products –

1. Use Advantage or Frontline topically once a fortnight instead of monthly during a flea infestation
2. Use Capstar flea tablets 2-3 times a week to kill adult fleas immediately
3. Cats can have a 6 monthly Program injection to stop flea eggs from hatching.
