Im new to watching american football have you got any tips for a newcomer watching american football

Im English and I just gotten into watching it on youtube but somethings are just a blur to me,

is there any tips for someone whos new to the sport or is it that I have to watch it untill I get it?

Learn Some positions and basic rules. Like learn that quarterbacks throw the ball, half and full backs run, receivers and right ends catch, lineman block, and D lineman linebackers and dbacks tackle. Understand things like offsides, false start, holding, pass interfirence and face mask. It's a complex game that u just need to take step at a time soon you'll get the hangs of it
