When did the TV show House start using massive attack's "teardrop" as its theme song?

I'm watching it on Netflix and am currently on season 1: episode 6. The theme song is different so far.

I'm noticing the same thing. Massive Attack's Teardrop is supposed to replace the other theme song in season 2 if it's a U.S. run of the show. Apparently, in the U.K. and other areas, they did not use Teardrop because of licensing permission. Also, the dvd version doesn't use Teardrop. The Netflix version must be from one of those regions because I haven't heard it yet, and I'm past season 2.

I just got the Blu-Ray and it didn't say it wasn't a US version, but it is clearly a European copy upon physical inspection. I was wondering why the theme song hadn't changed. I'm 3/4 of the way through season 2. I don't see it available on Netflix, which is why I bought a physical copy.
