hi....Once you've decided that losing weight has risen to the top of your fitness wish list, it's time to develop your calorie-burning workout to help you get results. If you've narrowed your choices to taking up yoga or joining a gym to use its various exercise equipment, each type of workout has numerous benefits, but one will help you burn calories quicker. http://www.gymflooringuk.co.uk/

I think both............Doing yoga or hitting the gym - too difficult a choice to make? Let's make things easier and look at both not as rivals but close allies. Yes, yoga can be a perfect complement to your body workout and actually add to the benefits you derive from it.

The best part is, you can continue with your daily workout routine just the way it is now and simply add a few minutes of yoga practice to it for better results.

Yoga is good for increasing your concentration level and to become slim, but if u want to get built up then it will not help you, obviously u will have to join gym. So if you just want to loose weight then it would be yoga and for building up go to gym.

I prefer to Yoga, it does more than burn calories and tone muscles. It is a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation. Most important is that it is very easy to learn, if you are the beginners, here are some advice: http://www.euask.com/topic/5020-Which-type-of-yoga-is-right-for-beginners

Both are good but it depends upon you how much effort you want to give to get a healthy and fit body.

By nature, I am not a comparer. Everything has its plusses and minuses in my book (except, of course, yoga which is all plusses!). So, while I am not anti-gym, I do think that yoga kicks the gym’s derrière on every level, and you can kick your own (butt, that is) in yoga, literally, if you feel like it!

People are always curious as to “what else I do” to “work out” other than yoga. The answer? Nothing! Yoga is everything my body needs to function at it’s absolute best. Here’s why:

It’s efficient!
It can count as cardio.
Yoga is not a competitive sport!
It saves money.
You can do it anywhere.
No injuries.

Truly speaking both works. Yoga makes you strong from inside but if you want to build your muscle while reducing fat then consider gym but Yoga is also a very powerful and I practice yoga every day. But if you practice yoga then buy a good yoga mat and I would recommend buying from online.

My experience after doing both options is that yoga is best. Nothing can compete yoga in giving you healthy and fit life which is also disease free in future also. Yoga will help not only tone your body but while doing that, it also helps you to be truly in the moment and infuses your spirit with positive energy. While gym workout is focused primarily on improving your body’s physical condition and just focused on strengthening muscles and boosting cardio only.
