How do you write the partial fraction decomposition of (3x^2-7x-2)/(x^3-x) can I have the steps?

I am having a lot of trouble with this subject and I would really appreciate being shown how. How do you write the partial fraction decomposition of (3x^2-7x-2)/(x^3-x) can I have the steps

um what is the ^ for and space out when its being multiplied or subtracted and added and ill help ya out.

i get the
(3x 2-7x-2)

(x 3-x) if ^ is multiply then

top : 3x times 2=6x 6x-7x=-x -x-2= -2x

bottom: x times 3= 3x 3x-x= 2x
(-2x)
----- = -x
(2x)
