What is the best place to check in while staying in Jakarta Indonesia?

So my fiancé and I will be tying the knot next month and I wanted to spend our honeymoon in Jakarta Indonesia. I already consulted from Westhill Consulting Travel & Tours Singapore and they have given so much information that I am very appreciative of but despite I also wanted to ask people about their own experiences. My consultant has suggested some hotels and I find them good but I could still make use of your advices.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta is an excellent hotel, people are very nice and friendly. Location wise is great, it is centrally located, across is the shopping mall Plaza Indonesia.

Mandarin Oriental is one of Jakarta's original luxury hotels; that alone is enough to convince you to stay there! Up to now, it remains to be one of its best. I stayed here once for my aunt's wedding and expect the luxury of a 5-star hotel. The building doesn't look too 'grand' from the outside, as it has been there a while, but service is superb and the rooms are beautifully furnished.

Mandarin is luxurious. You can enjoy the massages, facials and jacuzzi in the spa or laze at the pool side.

I agree, mandarin hotel is grand and lavish, service is super, bedroom is spacious and makes you feel like a king. Breakfast is great - excellent spread. Very opulent. I'd come here again.

What I like with Inter Continental Mid Plaza Jakarta is the bed which has a European-style canopy valance at the top of the bed. Very romantic!

I stopped through Jakarta a few times on my way into and out of Indonesia. Also a few times I came into the city to get work supplies and a few creature comforts that I did not have in my remote work sites. I stayed at Marriott, the hotel was a very comfortable place to recharge my batteries, rest off the jet lag, and escape the noise and chaos of the city.

I've always known the Kemang icon; it was completed just before I moved to Jakarta. So, at first, Kemang Icon was one of my regular stops, on my way back home from meetings in CBD. Back then, I would go straight to the edge, sit back on the rooftop, enjoy the view, do my things or gather with friends. I miss the place so much.

Amid the bustle and the traffic of Jakarta is a gorgeous hotel with incredibly gracious and attentive management and staff. The rooms are spacious and clean with a modern decor, but the personal touch made all the difference. We loved our stay at the Icon by Alila!

Kemang hotel is a great hotel, friendly staff. The room is smaller than expected, amenities were standard but I still enjoyed.

I think the Ibis Arcadia Jakarta is good if you're looking for a cheap hotel. Definitely nice to chill out.
