What is the scale factor of the dilation?

Darian wants to build a regulation-size pool table that is 9 feet in length. The Plans he ordered are 18 by 36inches. What is the scale factor of the dilation he must use to build the regulation pool table?

Its either 6 or 3. Maybe. You convert ft to inches which is 108. Then depending on which ones the length, you divide 108 by the 18 or 36. Please don't go solely on my answer though I'm not 100% sure. I just thought i'd try to help :)

If you convert feet into inches, you will get 108. Then, you would divide 108 by 36. Then, that will give you the answer of 3.
