Is there a children's book that has the phrase "only the best" in it?

A long time ago I read a children's picture book (perhaps based on a folktale) that tells the story of a man who is shopping for supplies for a party or a wedding and he wants "only the best" items for th event. he visits many merchants and ends up with water "only the best"!!!
