If you visited a UK architectural practice to speak to an 'architect' would you expect to find one?

Did you know that a fully qualified Architect gets to use the protected title of "Architect" under UK law? No one else can use this word to describe themselves (or their business) if they aren't a fully trained Architect. Some do and are given a slapped wrist legally, amounting to a small fine.

So...if you were looking for an Architect and visited a company called ABC Architectural Practice, the chances that they don't have any qualified Architects working for them (although they work in the field of Architecture).

I'm interested in finding out if this is general knowledge with the average homeowner looking for an extension or loft conversion. So please help answer my question below as part of my survey (Yes/No will suffice!):

QUESTION: Would you have assumed that you would be working with a fully qualified Architect at ABC Architectural Practice when you walked through the door and started discussing plans and getting quotes for 'designing' your extension or loft conversion with them?
