If, by "stand" you mean remain stationary without moving, helicopters can do that as well as a class of aircraft called VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing). They have a mechanism that converts their forward thrust to all lift by turning their engines from horizontal to vertical. There are both jet and reciprocating aircraft capable of doing it.

Yes..some (most fighter jets are on vertical take-off) which makes them stand still in the air..IF you have played GTA San Andreas you might know what Im talking about..Some fighter planes are the fastest while some are Fastest planes in the world..Check this out https://pickytop.com/fastest-plane-in-the-world
