My asus laptop is booting erroneously i.e. on starting it shows a black screen with a blinkin cursor

well this was the same case prior to getting my pc repaired and it seems that this problem is still persisting .I bought my asus laptop approx.last year so it's not even an year old and is giving such errors .also on pressing enter key Windows starts booting but scroll bar gets hanged.
OS:windows 7 32-bit ultimate.
320 gb hdd
2gb RAM
AMD processor.
Please help me urgently.

Try restarting it to the last known good configuration.

It would have been good if you have mentioned it with your asus laptop model and till what you have re-boot your laptop, but anyways I can say you to try to reboot your printer one more time with proper implementation of steps

But foe the black screen I can recommend you with the following steps coz the black screen error is not due to re-booting it is because of these followed reasons

Step No. 1 – remove the battery once.
Step No. 2 – Cleaning of the black screen before start with a dry cloth or dryer with a distance as the reason for the black screen can be moist
Step No. 3 - Choose "Windows Boot Genius" and Burn it
