Final Fantasy X-2 What the heck do I do now?!

I'm on chapter 5, but I can't beat the Azi Dahaka. Everywhere I go I have people say to use 2 dark knights and an alchamist. I still died. I left to go get stronger but im at such a high level it will take me forever with regular fights. I want to Djose and fought the machinea and won. I went to Bekinal and got all the gate keepers but now I cant beat angra mainyu. I was told the same thing about Azi Dahaka. I found out I can get a catnip accesory so I went to bevelle and now I cant beat that stupid elder drake on floor 10! What do I do now!
