16 and still play with soft toys.

I'm nearly 16 years old (female), and I still play with my soft toys. I play with Lego and stuff, too, but I think the soft toys worry me the most.

When I say play, I mean literally putting on the voices and putting them in situations. Almost like Andy from Toy Story.

It freaks my mum out a lot, and she might inquire for me to get an autism test because I also display autistic traits, but I'm not sure if this is autism.

Please help. What's wrong with me?

If you are neglecting your responsibilities to spend your time playing with toys, I would consider that a possible problem but otherwise there's nothing wrong with it. It sounds like you have an active imagination and that is a good thing. It's a primary ingredient of intelligence and creativity.

You might try to move beyond "playing" into creating. You could have a talent for designing children's toys or writing and illustrating children's books. Many success stories started with interests like yours at an early age. Bill Gates, one of the founders of Microsoft's parents thought he was wasting his time "playing" with computers. :-)
