The difference between suffocation and eutrophication

Suffocation is deprivation of air as would occur if a person's mouth and nose were blocked.

Eutrophication is when a water body becomes oversupplied with plant nutrients, usually from fertilizers or sewage running off the land into streams. It causes an overgrowth of plant organisms like algae which often kills other beneficial life by depleting the oxygen supply.
