What are the laws for BB guns in Dare County, NC

I recently got a 350 fps Daisy BB Gun. I have owned air soft guns before but they were less powerful. This is the strongest BB gun I have ever owned and I wanted to know if I could get in trouble with the local police. I live in the suburbs. I have a good sized backyard and that where I usually shoot it. I also wanted to know if I could legally hunt birds in my yard.
