If my daughters dad gives me money will he still have to pay child support?

So I filed for food stamps and cash aid after my parents kicked me out, but they recently accepted me back home so I will be canceling my government help And also my daughters father recently got a hold of me and agreed to give me money every month for our daughter . After our agreement will he still have to pay child support ?

If he is giving "me money every month for our daughter" that's what child support is. If there is a court order he should make sure he's getting credit for what he is paying.
