Is there any way to make a millinery (hat making) iron and/or steamer?

Is there a relatively simple way to make a millinery iron? Preferably with affordable, and somewhat everyday-ish items.

Sorry... I'm having trouble figuring out exactly what a millinery iron is...

I got my professional gravity feed iron from http://www.allbrands.com/. I've been really pleased with their customer service. Great products. Gravity feed irons have serious steam, and good weight. I hung my iron's water feed cord with a metal plant basket holder bracket mounted to the wall.

If you're talking about a little hand-held iron, would a Clover mini-iron work?
