Need help writing something important?

I'm writing a letter to my crush. Don't worry, she knows me well and vice versa, so it won't be "creepy" or weird. It's just that I get real nervous around, I don't have enough face-to-face with her(only in between classes for like 10-20 seconds) and after school she's always with friends and her parents pick her up. So how can I begin this letter, note, whatever you wanna call it? What length is appropriate and what details should I include? Also what time would be good to deliver it? I hope I get answers cause I don't want to regret typing this unnecessary essay.
