Ireland is 53rd on the world list of per capita cigarette consumption at about 1,000 cigarettes per year per person. No idea about percentages.

Im Irish and a social smoker. The majority of us are "chain smokers", with red hair and sit on potts of gold!

I have no idea about percentage. But I would like to share my opinion on smoking. It is very malefic and is responsible for various cancers, high blood pressure and various ailments related to heart.
