Windows 7 Black screen Problem .I've installed windows 7, but it was not active .with black wallpa

I've installed windows 7, but it was not active ..with black wallpaper ..and I tried to change it but nothing changing .. Later I activated windows 7 and even after that the black screen is not changing when I click on change desktop background / themes .. Please help
