Explain how erosion is involved in the earths structure

Asked Mar 06, 2013
Wind and water move sand and dirt. The process of losing the material from an area is called erosion. The process of gaining material is call accretion. Erosion and accretion continuously rearrange the earths surface by moving material from one area to another.

The earths structure is changed by tectonics and volcanic activity but very little by erosion.
