Can someone tell me what the value of this book is?

I have an old book titled 'The Harvester' by Gene Stratton Porter, dated 1911. The unique thing about this book is that it is bound with the first fifteen pages missing. It is obvious it was bound this way and that the pages are not just ripped out. I cannot find anything on the web about this... does this make the book less or more valuable?
