My laptop freezes and gives an annoying buzzing sound

Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron n5110
while i'm using it suddenly it freezes and the mouse pointer freezes for 2 or 3 seconds giving an annoying sound if i'm playing a song or i'm playing a game
i installed a new version of windows and an anti virus but nothing the problem still the same.. even I cleaned the fan
any help please!!

depending on the ram,for e.g. 1gb ram will freeze because of all the applications being used at one time,and 4-6+gb can run more apps,thus allowing it to run many more applications

Skullicious92 may be right. When your computer runs out of memory it swaps the data back and forth to the hard drive which takes a lot more time than accessing internal memory. Google "monitor RAM usage" and follow the recommendations for the operating system you're using.

Make sure your computer and graphics card meet the minimums for the games you're playing.

My laptop does the same, with 4GB RAM, so this is not the cause. Happens when for example 1GB is free. On the other hand it many times swaps to hard disk without this happening. And I had older laptop with 512MB ram that swapped like hell, never did that buzzing.
