What to do in a long distance Valentine's Day

I've been dating my boyfriend for about 3 months but I've known him for longer. We're really close and things have been going great, only problem is now I'm in Vancouver and he's in Kelowna for university. Valentines day is coming up soon and I want to do something for him but visiting isn't an option for another 3 or 4 months. I'm an artist, I don't have much money, so I thought I'd maybe make something and send a picture of it? I don't know. Any suggestions for something sweet to do would be very appreciated.

You can make him a VD card, like the one's we used to pass out in elementary school... and include "gift certificates" for things you can do together when you visit.
