I am seventeen and wrecked my father's car, so will I be held responsible for the damages?

I lived with my father at seventeen and wrecked his car. Now I am eighteen and do not live with him, so am I liable for the damages?

If the vehicle is titled in your father's name and he has no insurance to pay for the damage, he can sue you but I doubt he would collect if you were a minor at the time of the accident.
