Could I get a job if I'm not fluent in the country's language?

Well I'm moving to Iceland. I want to get a job, but I don't really know much Icelandic. I'm gonna have to pay for a lot of things, so I'll run out of money quick. How could I make money, without knowing the full language? I heard that they speak English and Dutch quite well, but I don't know if they would still hire me. I might want to work at an airline.

Language will not be much of an issue since 98 percent of the people in Iceland speak English.

I wouldn't move to another country without knowing for sure you have a job there unless you have some kind of backup like relatives living there or someone willing to send you money if you are unable to find work. Being broke and unemployed in another country would not be a fun experience.
