Can I cook a smoked boneless picnic roast like I would a ham?

My husband has asked me to cook a ham this year for your thanksgiving and there was soo many people at the store today buying everything for thanksgiving that I kinda just grabbed a ham and left. When I got home I noticed it said nothing about it being a ham instead it says " Smoked bonless picnic roast- fully cooked". I already had a honey glazed receipe in mind and now I wonder if I can still make what I had in mind or do I need to go back to the store and buy a new ham now? Please help. Thank you.
